Given one sprint (2 weeks) to complete the discovery process, I went ahead with a rapid discovery methodology. Did a heuristics check and a breakdown of the structure of the current webpage. I noticed there was a lack of branding, visual systems and also the structure and flow of the content in a vertical format was long and cumbersome to navigate through.

Instead of a deep architecture, I wanted to have content spread across using a wider breadth where the initial content for users is a lot easier to digest. I would be easier to have in-depth content structure under processes, in this case, 'the 3 quotients of X-Lab'.

I think it is very important to understand what we want to achieve and what sort of content will appeal to users who visit our site. By breaking down the content to 3 key tenets, it is possible to understand how we position ourselves, the sort of personality we want to be seen as, and from a brand perspective, our relationship to our mother brand,

Redesigned a new experience for the X-Labs webpage, the new visual direction aims to create impact and bring on more congruent brand identity.




Directed the UI direction and also an initial mvp prototype for the webpage for X-Labs.
