Meiro
User research and Usability report
As part of the requirements for the Meiro project, we were tasked to conduct user research and generate a usability report together with feature recommendations for Meiro's CDP data technology platform. The report was an intensive study on the system's capability and how robust it was to be ready for launch.

The process
The research process focuses on these 3 key areas to achieve greater accuracy.

Heuristics evaluation
We ran an internal evaluation of the product to determine areas that could be further improved.

Understanding the data

The data collected from the first round of testing gave us insights into their habits and expectations when using CDP products.
Moderated and unmoderated user testings
Users were given tasks to complete for both moderate and unmoderated testings. We identified common trends in the research.

To further evaluate and understand why some of them expressed such concerns, we can look into their usage habits and existing platforms used.

More insights were uncovered through understanding user behaviors and preferences.

In conclusion, these areas were key insights that was discovered from the research.

Diving deeper to the nuts and bolts of the user experience
Every detail makes up a total experience. Looking at how they interact with the dashboard, it gave us a better understanding and further validated areas where we felt, were problematic.

Testing on the revised design
Another round of testing was done after changes were made to the design. This time, the testing was a hybrid of both concept selection and task testing where testers were given tasks.

Task testing
Testers were given scenarios to test the newly designed segments.

Concept selection
For concept selection, testers were given two handouts and were asked to discuss which of the functions do they prefer. These testers were also users we test in the first round.

Final results
The new system scored significantly better than the first. New recommendations were made known to Meiro. This helped the Meiro development team to continue improving the system.
